    Billed to the centimetre, not the sheet

    Most printers charge for the whole sheet, so the empty tail is your problem. We measure to the bottom edge of your artwork and bill that length only. Fill 62 cm of a 100 cm sheet and you pay for 62 cm, and auto-arrange packs your designs to keep the sheet short.

    The film, the sheets, the files

    Sheet width
    56 cm of usable film across, every sheet.
    Sheet lengths
    50 cm, 100 cm, 150 cm, 200 cm. You are billed for the film used, not the length picked.
    Colour
    Full colour CMYK with a white underbase, so it presses onto any garment colour.
    Artwork
    PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, TIFF, PDF or AI. Not EPS. Transparent backgrounds are kept as they are.
    Resolution
    150 DPI or better at print size. Anything lower is flagged before you pay.
    Minimum order
    None. One small transfer is billed as the centimetres it uses.

    Press it at home

    The starting recipe for our film. No weeding, no cutting, no re-press.

    • Works on cotton, polyester and blends, light or dark. The white underbase is printed in.
    • Cut the sheet however you like. Spare film leaves no residue, so trimming is only for convenience.
    • Care: wash inside out at 30 to 40°C, skip fabric softener, and don't iron directly on the print.

    DTF printing questions

    What is DTF printing?
    Direct-to-film printing. Your artwork is printed onto a transfer film in full colour with a white underbase, then heat-pressed onto the garment. It presses onto any colour of cotton, polyester or blend, and it needs no weeding and no cutting.
    How much does DTF printing cost?
    From £2.99 a metre ex VAT on our lowest rate, and £5.99 a metre with no plan at all. You are billed to the centimetre of film your artwork actually uses, not for the whole sheet.
    Is there a minimum order?
    No. There is no minimum order and no minimum length. A single small transfer is billed as the few centimetres of film it uses.
    How fast is it?
    Order before 1:30pm on a working day and it is printed the same day. Delivery starts at £4.99 ex VAT, with next working day and pre-10:30 options at checkout.
    Do you print gang sheets?
    Yes. Sheets are 56 cm wide and up to 200 cm long, and the builder auto-arranges your artwork to pack the sheet as short as possible, which is what you are billed for.
    Can I send my own artwork?
    Yes. Upload PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, TIFF, PDF or AI and place it on the sheet yourself. Artwork should be at least 150 DPI at the size it prints; the builder warns you if anything falls below that.
    How do I press the transfers?
    150°C for 15 seconds at medium pressure, then let the film cool and peel it. No re-press is needed. Wash inside out at 30 to 40°C, skip fabric softener, and do not iron directly on the print.
