The same editor through a theme app extension. The sheet rides on the line item, the order posts to Merchu when it is paid, and fulfilment comes back through Shopify's own API.

Any other store

One div and one script tag put the creator on the page, with a visitor token your server mints from its API key. A small REST API prices the basket, takes the paid order and posts the dispatch. We wire it up with you.

Gang sheet creator questions

What is the Merchu gang sheet creator?
A hosted gang sheet builder for DTF and UV DTF transfers that you embed in your own store. The editor, the uploads, the sheets and the prices live on Merchu; your store keeps the customer, the basket and the checkout.
Which platforms does it work with?
WooCommerce and Shopify through our connector plugin and app, and any other site through a script tag and the REST API. Custom integrations are available, and we set each store up with you.
Who charges my customer?
Your store does, through its own checkout and payment provider. Merchu never takes a payment from your customer and never sees their card.
Can I set my own prices and rate tiers?
Yes. Each product has its own rate per metre, billed by the centimetre of film used or by the whole sheet, and the rate can fall in tiers by the size of the order or by the customer's lifetime metres.
Can I sell UV DTF as well as DTF?
Yes. It is the same editor with its own product name and its own rate card, and the two can share one basket and one set of tiers.
Do my customers need a Merchu account?
No. They use your store's account or check out as a guest, and their saved and ordered sheets appear under their account on your store.
Who prints the orders?
1ClickPrint in Sheffield, on the presses that print Merchu's own transfers. Ordered before 1:30pm on a working day it is printed that day and posted to your customer, and the tracking is written back to the order in your store. Printing in house, with the print files sent to you instead, is next on the roadmap.
What does it cost?
Nothing to use when we print the orders. You pay your trade rate for the film, from £2.99 a metre ex VAT, your customer pays your price, and the difference is yours. Every metre your customers order counts towards your next rate tier.
What about VAT?
It is your store's. Merchu quotes ex VAT and your store applies its own tax at checkout as it does for everything else. You choose whether the editor shows prices with or without VAT.
How big can an upload be?
Up to 1 GB a file, in PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, TIFF, PDF or AI. Artwork below 150 DPI at its printed size is flagged in the editor before the sheet reaches the basket.
